A Sticky Piston is a Redstone component in Minecraft: Story Mode. When powered, it can push or pull one block in front of it.

Appearances

• In "The Order of the Stone", some of the builds at EnderCon use Sticky Pistons.
• In "Assembly Required", if Jesse chooses to visit Boom Town (Determinant), he/she can choose to chase a Griefer called Nohr (Determinant), who will activate a Sticky Piston trap, causing Jesse to fall through a building.
  • The entrance to Magnus' Tower in Boom Town also has a Sticky Piston trap which will create a hole in the floor when activated.
  • If Jesse visits Redstonia (Determinant), several inventions can be seen using Sticky Pistons, including the Flying Machine and the Robot.
• In "A Block and a Hard Place", the Flying Machine requires Jesse to craft a Sticky Piston using a Piston and Slimeball.

Trivia

• In Minecraft: Story Mode, many different traps and secret entrances possibly use Sticky Pistons and/or Pistons. 
• In regular Minecraft, if a Sticky Piston moves a Slime Block, any blocks (except non-movable ones) connected with the Piston arm through slime blocks will be moved as well.
